Foodida Marketing
Foodida, a fast food delivery app, really leaned into the kitschy and fun side of fast food.
As the Art Director, I led planning meetings with the marketing director and other designers to ensure
that our content elicited humor, playfulness, a color story, and touched on current pop culture moments.
I earned a deep respect for food stylists when we naively bought $100+ worth of fast food to photograph ourselves. Needless to say, some of the content was created from scratch and some was heavily manipulated. The work below highlights some of my favorite moments from Foodida’s branded social and marketing campaigns.
ROLE: Art Director; Photographer; Retoucher; Copywriter
Direct Mail from a Galaxy Far, Far Away
A direct mail promotional piece for Foodida that was timed with the release of
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens”(aka when I learned to photoshop froth into Yoda)
Chicken Nugget Boy Bands
The most-ever liked image on Foodida’s Instagram page featured chicken nugget versions of OneDirection (RIP) and Justin Bieber and corresponded to the release dates of the Purpose and Made In The A.M. album releases. Hair courtesy of honey mustard and barbecue sauce.
All the Beyonce
While the Lemonade album was hot, we leaned into Queen B to help organically grow our social media following on Instagram and Facebook
With #FoodidaFlex, you can earn swag for your bag with this mini Sriracha keychain. 💃🏻🔥
Six inch HAAAAAM, she walked in the Subway like nobody's business 👠🐷
A Sticker Moment
This sticker campaign not only helped brand the fast food delivery bags, but it also assured quality control. Each driver was given stickers to place on bags immediately upon pickup. Our Street Team captured moments in iconic locations around LA to show off the Foodida lifestyle.
